I have spent most of my academic and professional career living and working in the beautiful city of Victoria. I started practicing law with Crease Harman LLP in 2002, and became a partner in 2012. I like to be accessible to my clients, and to answer client emails and phone inquiries myself in a timely manner, usually within one or two days.

About half of my law practice involves the niche practice area of real estate assessment – in other words, the valuation and classification of real estate for property tax purposes. This allows me to regularly attend BC Property Assessment Appeal Board hearings, as well as BC Supreme Court and Court of Appeal hearings, which I enjoy. In the balance of my practice I work closely with individuals and businesses to provide the practical legal advice you need to succeed in your business and corporate/commercial endeavors. This includes residential and commercial real estate transactions and financing, as well as wills, estates planning and administration, and succession planning for business and individuals. I also continue a small personal injury practice for select clients.

I spend much of my spare time at the hockey rink or baseball diamond cheering for my son’s minor hockey and little league baseball teams. On summer days you might also find me water skiing on Elk lake, or just enjoying the outdoors with friends and family.
