Lian Kubisz

Lian was born and raised in Toronto, Ontario, where she completed her Bachelor of Commerce degree with a major in Law and Business before moving to Victoria in 2020. After earning her law degree at the University of Victoria in 2023, Lian joined Crease Harman LLP as an articled student and was called to the British Columbia bar in 2024.

During law school, Lian was President of the University of Victoria Intellectual Property Law Club where she furthered her longstanding interest in intellectual property law. In the Summer of 2022, Lian gained valuable experience as a Temporary Articled Student at The Law Centre, where she provided compassionate and trauma-informed legal support to economically disadvantaged individuals across a wide range of practice areas.

Today, Lian maintains a broad practice in general civil litigation, family law, and administrative law. She brings a particular focus to her family law practice, where she is passionate about helping clients navigate some of the most difficult and sensitive moments of their lives. Across all areas of her practice, Lian works closely with each of her clients to provide strategic and practical guidance in her commitment to achieving favourable outcomes for each of her clients’ legal issues.

When Lian is not in the office, she enjoys travelling, drawing pet portraits, and spending time with her family, including her two dachshunds.
