Perry Crous
Raised in the scenic landscapes of New Zealand, Perry graduated from Victoria University of Wellington with dual degrees in law and political science. At university he balanced academia with impactful roles as a property law tutor for the law school and a volunteer for both cadets and a workers’ rights advocacy non-profit. He was called to the New Zealand bar in 2018.
After graduation, Perry leveraged his expertise as a land advisor for the New Zealand government, providing expert input on land issues for Treaty of Waitangi settlement negotiations. The pursuit of new horizons brought him to Canada in 2020, a journey inspired by meeting his future wife.
Settling in Victoria, Perry contributed to the development of innovative new models for affordable home ownership, aligning investment opportunities with community needs from 2021 to 2023. His career trajectory continued as he joined Crease Harman LLP as an articled student in 2023 and was called to the British Columbia bar in 2024.
Today, Perry’s practice reflects his dynamic background, with a focus on corporate/securities and commercial law, and some work in civil litigation, with an ongoing interest in property disputes.
His legal career is complemented by his personal passions, which include travel, photography, and the great outdoors, often shared with his wife and their beloved dog. He is an occasional baker and notorious sweet tooth.
