BC PNP: Permanent residents coming to B.C., 2002–2019

Permanent residents have been coming to BC through the PNP since 2002. The updated figures for 2019 are now available from the Skills Immigration Stream of the B.C. Provincial Nominee Program report:
Permanent residents coming to BC through BC PNP. In 2019, there were 12,580 permanent residents, including spouses and dependents.

The BC PNP allows British Columbia to select immigrants who can contribute to the province’s labour market and economic development. B.C. then nominates these applicants to the federal government for permanent residency. Permanent residency is a pathway for Canadian citizenship.
