Jessica West

Jessica grew up in Edmonton, Alberta but is proud to have lived on British Columbia’s beautiful West Coast for the last 15 years. She obtained a Bachelor of Social Work degree from the University of British Columbia in 2014 and worked in the field for six years as an outreach worker supporting women who have experienced abuse by an intimate partner. After completing her law degree at the University of Victoria in 2024, Jessica joined Crease Harman LLP as an articled student and was called to the British Columbia bar in 2025.

During law school, Jessica completed a co-op with a community organization focussed on the rights of children and youth as well as a term at The Law Centre, providing legal services to low income and marginalized members of the community. Jessica’s passion for ensuring safety for women and children affected by family violence has led her to practice in family law. She brings a trauma-informed lens to her legal practice and is dedicated to prioritizing the best interests of children in finding solutions for families. Jessica has also developed a keen interest in the intersections of family and immigration law and is pleased to assist clients with their immigration law needs.

In her free time, Jessica enjoys travelling, being outdoors and spending time with her tuxedo cat, Zoey.
