Timothy (Tim) is originally from Ontario, but has been a Western Canadian for nearly 20 years. After completing high school in White Rock, Tim eventually migrated to Vancouver Island where he has been since 2005. Tim received his Bachelor’s Degree in Economics (with distinction) from the University of Victoria in 2008. Tim continued on to UVic Law School, completing his Juris Doctor there in 2011. Tim spent a term working for the Law Society of Nunavut during law school, and spent another learning advocacy while working at UVic’s Law Centre. After articling in Victoria, Tim practiced in the Cowichan Valley, spending as much time as possible in the court at Duncan, BC. Tim joined Crease Harman in 2015, where he is delighted to be practicing in his favorite city.

Tim has extensive experience in front of the Provincial and Supreme Courts of BC, in courthouses from Victoria to Campbell River. He has represented clients before the Office of the Superintendent of Motor Vehicles, the BC Human Rights Tribunal and the Residential Tenancy Office of BC. Tim’s practice is focused on general litigation, including civil and family litigation, Alternative Dispute Resolution, and criminal and regulatory law.

Other Activities

Tim enjoys spending as much time as possible out of doors, but also appreciates a good book. Tim is currently learning to speak French with limited success, and is a volunteer with the John Howard Society.
